Ascension Complete is Becoming Wellcare Complete & Wellcare ACT Training Courses Changes

Wellcare is pleased to announce that on Jan. 1, 2024, Ascension Complete will become Wellcare Complete, a product of Wellcare by Allwell. The brand name change complements the plan's relationship as a wholly owned Centene company.

Key Information:

  • Wellcare Complete benefit plans will continue to offer access to the Ascension network of doctors, specialists and more throughout 2024.
  • Members have received a notification of the plan name change by mail, email and within their Medicare Annual Notice of Change.
  • In 2024, Wellcare Complete will be administered alongside the products available within local Wellcare markets.
  • Ascension Complete member ID cards will be replaced with a new Wellcare Complete ID card to be used beginning Jan. 1, 2024.
  • Express Scripts will be the new Pharmacy Benefit Manager beginning Jan. 1, 2024.

Member support is available by calling Wellcare at 800-977-7522 (844-796-6811 for D-SNP) or by accessing their updated web site, wellcarecomplete.com. The member portal has also been redirected to member.wellcarecomplete.com and log-on credentials will remain the same.

Note: The new Wellcare By Allwell brand will not appear on the member portal until Jan. 1, 2024.

2024 Wellcare ACT Training Courses - Summary of Changes

If, earlier this year, you successfully completed review of the 2024 Wellcare ACT Journey to a Successful Season and Know Your Product training courses, please be aware that since your successful completion, there have been some content updates that need your attention in advance of the coming year. 

Note: Please be aware that any changes for marketing/selling activities contained within the summary, that may have impacted 2024 plan year effective enrollments, have been previously communicated through broker updates as they occurred.
